Elizabeth I

Okay, Now Today is Elizabeth I! Elizabeth was born on September 11 1533, to Anne Boleyn and Henry VIII (8th). Henry was enraged that Anne had not borne him a son so when Elizabeth was only two and three quarters, Henry, in a desperate attempt to get rid of her, executed Anne. He then Married Jane Seymour, who gave birth to a sickly baby boy Edward who died at 15, but I'll talk more about that later.
Mary I who was 2nd in line for the throne in case Edward died before he was crowned, Leaving Elizabeth, last. Elizabeth Thought she would never ascend the throne of England! But maybe later, death, would prove her wrong. As a child, Elizabeth would often be exiled to Hatfield house. Mary to, would be exiled. Edward was never exiled, as the only male child, and heir to the the throne. Elizabeth had a favorite governess, Catherine or "Kat" Ashley. Kat was fun and loved Elizabeth very much and was her governess until her death in 1564. Elizabeth was related to some other queens who shared the same untimely fate.
Elizabeth died peacefully but they were executed. Henry VIII was ill and died in the short hours of the morning on January 28 1547. Edward, Elizabeth and, Mary all had a private time to pay their respects and condolences, to their father. None of the children attended the funeral. Edward for tradition, Mary and Elizabeth were just not allowed to go. Edward then took over Tudor House (where they lived,) and the Kingdom of England.Nine year old Edward was crowned king on February 20, 1547, but sadly, died of tuberculosis at the age of 15. But, Edward's will left Nothing to do with Mary as heir. Lady Jane Grey was the heir to the throne. But was accused of high treason nine days later and executed in 1554. So Mary was Queen. Mary was bent on making England catholic and burnt protestants at the stake. That's where she got the nickname Bloody Mary. Elizabeth's life was never in any more jeopardy than it was during Mary's reign. You see, Elizabeth was protestant. She pretended to be catholic to save her life.
But that didn't stop Mary from imprisoning Elizabeth in the Tower of London! But death clasped it's hands on Mary and left Elizabeth proved wrong, and Queen.
England was happy with their pretty, young and lively new queen. Elizabeth ruled for 44 wondrous years in England, but died peacefully in 1603

Eleanor of Aquitaine

Okay, First, I get all this info from Wikipedia. So, now to my topic. Eleanor of Aquitaine was born on an unknown summer date in 1122. Eleanor was the eldest child of William X and Aenor de Chatelleraut. Eleanor had 1 sister and 1 brother, Petronilla and William. William and Aenor sadly died on a trip to Talmont-by-the-sea. Even more disappointing, William was only four. Now, William X was the duke of Aquitaine, and the throne is given to the oldest son, so with William dead, Eleanor was the heir to the throne, as Petronilla was 2 years younger. Eleanor was very beautiful. Multiple men were madly in love with her. Eleanor's father was becoming sad so he went on a long walk with some peasants to the shrine of Saint James de Compostela to renew his soul, but sadly died of food poisoning along the way. That left Eleanor and Petra (Petronilla's nickname,) orphans, BUT, Eleanor was engaged to be married to Louis of France, and was going to be soon, so she would be a princess as well as a duchess. 5 days after their marriage Louis' Father died of dysentery, so Eleanor was now a queen. On Christmas day, 1137 Louis and Eleanor were crowned. Eleanor's wedding present a crystal and rock vase 847 years today, still here! <breaking news after a few weeks of marriage Eleanor was Jailed until 1189 when their marriage was annulled. Eleanor then married an English king. Eleanor had 6 children her favorite was Richard the Lionheart, died in 1199 Eleanor spent the rest of her life mourning over Richard's death. Eleanor's tomb depicts her holding a book to represent her Intelligence and love of books.

Mary, Queen of Scots

Okay my first theme. Today it's Mary, Queen of Scots. So Mary Stuart was born on December 8 1542, and was the only surviving legitimate child to James (father) and Mary (mother) 6 days after the birth of Mary her father died it was supposed he died of a nervous collapse. Mary was the new Queen but as she was an infant, Scotland was ruled by regents until she became of age. Mary, now five had been betrothed to three year old Francis I of France (he was not given that title until later on in his life) she was sent to France to live with them for the next thirteen years. She exceeded expectations in lessons. She learned multiple languages; French, Greek, Latin, Spanish, Italian and, Scots (duh!)  She also learned prose, poetry, horsemanship, falconry and, needlework. Mary was considered very pretty. She had auburn hair, hazel-brown eyes, smooth skin and firm features. Mary and Francis grew a bond being together for so long, more a bond of friendship than love. they remained friends for the rest of their lives, until Francis' death in 1560. Mary married two other men and had one son. Later on she was forced to abdicate and the throne was given to her son James. Mary then went to England to see her cousin Elizabeth I. While she was there she and others made three attempted assassinations towards Elizabeth. Mary was dragged into court, and found guilty of treason. She was sentenced to death. One day while Mary was imprisoned, a servant came to her and told her she was to be executed the next day. Mary spent her last hours in prayer and writing her will. In the room of the execution there was a platform that needed five steps to be reached and nothing on it but the block, a disrobing stool and a butchers axe used on livestock before. Mary took her clothing off and blindfolded, laid her head on the block. The executioner accidentally hit the back of her head and her servants thought she muttered " Sweet Jesus!" the next blow decapitated her. Then the executioner lifted her head by the hair and said, "God save the Queen!" then he looked down and saw Mary had grey hair! She had worn a wig to the execution. That is all
